MM Vol 1 #135Hootie & The Blowfish"Hold My Hand"(1994).
..Genre:Alternative Pop
Wellington 1995 for me: ..... I was the J*a*f*f*a (Just another fraggin f**ken Aucklander) living in the capital city. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. With "Hootie" ripping onto the radio scene along with the likes of "Silverchair", "Oasis" & "Smashing Pumpkins" with them. In short, it was all good musically. My kids were only small then and thought the music of the time was the norm (and yes, great gazooks, they still love music even in their late teenage years) One of the great things in life is one of my sons talks about the likes of Blink 182, Godsmack, Thousand Foot Krutch, etc and i know exactly what he's talking about. Even to the point of referring to songs he hasn't heard by the artists and speak his language and his love of the music. He thinks its weird too :)For Oasis visit The Def 1000 Songs Number 574 For
